Six Sigma Green Belt Training

This 5-days of course instruction prepares Green Belts to successfully complete Process Characterization and Standardization Projects, and assist Black Belts with DMAIC projects. It is designed to focus on topics that will help with completion of each phase as the Green Belts work through their projects.

Our ultimate goal is to see your organization achieve successful implementation of Six Sigma. This Green Belt training program is a means to that end. It is not designed to simply provide skills and knowledge and work toward certification, even though it does that and much more. The Green Belt is one role of many integral functions within a comprehensive Six Sigma program. At this level, the Green Belt fulfills two functions: as an expert assistant to the Black Belt, and as a local Six Sigma resource. Unlike Black Belts, Green Belts work Six Sigma projects part time.

This very unique and flexible Green Belt course has two options, so that you only pay for what you need. You have a choice to take our complete, project-based Green Belt Certification or our non project-based Green Belt Instruction.  Both options utilize the same classroom setting.

Green Belt Certification (Project-Based)

This course includes training in all of the DMAIC topics and also includes the requirement of a chartered project, due after the course is completed. Project: For this Green Belt Certification, you must demonstrate proficiency using the tools and concepts by completing one "chartered" DMAIC project. The Green Belt Certification includes application coaching to assist you with your projects, and help ensure maximum benefit and learning as you go. This includes a live consultation session, either on-site or via net meeting (or equivalent), as well as ongoing telephone support.

Green Belt Instruction Only (Non Project-Based)

If you are only looking for knowledge-based training, or may want to prepare for ASQ's Certified Six Sigma Green Belt certification or you're just interested in obtaining the know-how or tools to enhance their own job performance, this option may be for you. This instruction covers all of the DMAIC topics. Students taking this non project-based option may in the future wish to go on to full Green Belt Certification.
