Six Sigma Black Belt Training

This course of instruction prepares aspiring Black Belts to successfully complete Six Sigma instruction and projects based on the DMAIC methodology. It focuses on topics that will help with completion of each phase as the Black Belts work through their projects.

Our ultimate goal is to see your organization achieve successful implementation of Six Sigma. This Black Belt training program is a means to that end. The Black Belt is the key role in a comprehensive Six Sigma program. The Black Belts work full-time on improvement projects, targeted at your organization’s most important strategic problems. They are experts at leading teams, and using data analysis methods to solve process problems, and managing improvement projects.

This very unique and flexible Black Belt course has two options, so that you only pay for what you need. You have a choice to take our complete, project-based Black Belt Certification or our non project-based Black Belt Instruction.  Both options utilize the same classroom setting.

Black Belt Certification (Project-Based)

This course includes training in all of the DMAIC disciplines and also includes the requirement of two projects. Project: For this Black Belt Certification, you must demonstrate proficiency using the tools and concepts by completing two "chartered" DMAIC projects. Projects will be worked on and discussed throughout the course to reinforce the learning points covered in each week of training. Each participant should also have a Champion from their organization conducting project reviews at the end of each phase of the project. The Black Belt Certification includes application coaching to assist you with your projects, and help ensure maximum benefit and learning as you go. This includes a live consultation session between phases, either on-site or via net meeting (or equivalent), as well as ongoing telephone support.

Black Belt Instruction Only (Non Project-Based)

If you are only looking for knowledge-based training, or may want to prepare for ASQ's Certified Six Sigma Black Belt certification or you're just interested in obtaining the know-how or tools to enhance their own job performance, this option may be for you. This instruction covers all of DMAIC topics. Students taking this non project-based option may in the future wish to go on to full Black Belt Certification.
