Process Driven Comprehensive Auditing

Process Driven Comprehensive Auditing
Process Driven Comprehensive Auditing (ASQ Press) utilizes the tools and techniques developed by the inventor of this new method to rapidly and effectively perform true process-based internal audits. Based on Shewhart's "PDCA Cycle," the class examines commonalities between components of a classic process and the Plan, Do, Check and Act elements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The student is guided through process theory and specifics to develop a firm understanding of why audits are valuable tools for top management as input to decision making, resource allocation and return on investment. The focus on PDCA within working processes remains centermost as students learn how to use the standard for reference instead of direction as auditors. The result is a new level of relevance and depth, moving sharply away from traditional compliance auditing to a valuable addition to top management's toolbox.
